Bring on the masses!

I am happy to say that my clarity of mind and lack of joint pain both continue to improve!! I truly can’t remember the last time I have felt this close to the “old me”. I’m not totally there yet but I can tell I’m on my way! Travis has noticed that my sarcasm is making a return…. That’s a good thing right?!? 😉 What’s even better- Chloe is still seizure free!! That is just amazing to us!!

The only bummer right now is my hand. When my nurse told me I was doing acrobatics while under anesthesia I guess she wasn’t kidding!! I had an X-Ray yesterday and it seems I injured my TFCC joint along with my ulnar nerve. (I DID keep poking myself in the eye, forehead, nose, etc when my hand was numb so maybe it happened then??) The X-Ray revealed osteoarthritis and osteophytes (bone spurs) that I didn’t know I had. The injury of the nerve and the joint made these two issues unhappy and they have decided to make their presence known. Not a big deal, just a few weeks in a splint but definitely not how I had envisioned ringing in the new year.

Our IVs have been ordered and we plan to start them by next week. I think they will help our recoveries along even more. I hope they give us more stamina. That’s one area we seem to still be really struggling in- me way more so than Chloe. We feel great but definitely get worn out pretty quick.

I have had quite a few people reach out to me regarding my experience at Klinik St Georg. I feel so blessed to have been able to go get rid of those nasty spirochetes that ruled my life for so long. I’m more than happy to answer any questions anyone may have regarding this treatment. If you or someone you know has Lyme, I truly hope you will send them my way. Lyme isn’t the life sentence we are lead to believe it is. I thank God everyday I went for it and took the leap of faith to do it!
I can’t wait to ring in 2015 happy, healthy and LYME FREE!!!

  1. So happy for you and your daughter !! I’m a Lymie too. Diagnosed in April off this year – went through intensive IV therapy at a clinic in AZ. I pray we all continue to improve. Thank you for sharing your updates …
